Act 1 of Romeo and Juliet was sort of interesting to read because I have never read Romeo and Juliet ever before and when I started reading, I didn’t really expect this. I thought it was really boring to read and I would like it more as a play then reading the words. The wordplay is really weird and it doesn’t really make me want to read more and understand it. The only really interesting part while I was reading was when Romeo and Juliet met. I thought it was funny how they started talking and didn’t really know anything about each other but started kissing and they automatically fell in love. I really don’t think that they are in love. In the first couple scenes of the story, Romeo is obsessed with Rosaline and believes he is in love with her. Then when he goes to the party he totally forgets about her and falls in love with Juliet. I don’t think that he loves her because he barely knew her and all they did was talk for a little bit. I’m interested to see what happens later in the book when they start to get to know one another.
